MM2 900 MHz Series Industrial Radio
The FreeWave MM2 is a mini (2" H x 1.4" W) data radio with the industry’s best in-class performance and all the dependability our customers have come to expect from FreeWave. The MM2 offers the same functionality as our FGR Series, with a minuscule size that’s ideal for embedding into OEM products such as sensors, RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), robots and unmanned vehicles (UAVs, UUVs and UGVs). The MM2 is Class 1, Div 2 UL approved.
Key features of the MM2 include:

- 3.3 or 5.5 VDC operating voltage.
- Temperature range from -40º C to +85º C (-40º F to +185º F).
- Single radio configurable as a master, slave, or slave/repeater.
- 1.4" x 2.0" (36 mm x 50.8 mm) & only weighs 14 grams (TTL version).
- Ethernet with 2 serial ports available*.

A tiny powerful radio with a TTL level interface and small footprint of 2” H x 1.4” W (50.8 mm H x 36 mm W). The MM2-T is ideal for use in small OEM products such as sensors, small PLCs/RTUs, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), as well as any applications where space, weight and/or power come at a premium. Adding an MM2 inside an OEM solution creates a completely new communications potential for that product.
The MM2-P-T Ethernet radio has the same features as the MM2-T in a slightly larger footprint, plus the expanded ability to add wireless Ethernet connectivity and two (2) RS232 serial ports. Additional restrictions may apply.
The MM2 Developers Kit has all the tools needed to allow easy integration of the MM2 radio into OEM products.
